Dr. Richard Manfready is a board-certified gastroenterologist and nationally recognized clinical researcher. He leads the Motility Center and Research & Development division at CVDHR.
A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Manfready completed his residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and his fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. He also holds degrees from Harvard and MIT. His research interests include gastrointestinal motility, microbiome science and the gut-brain axis. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and global medical conferences, advancing care for patients with complex digestive disorders.
Harichandana Punukula directs the daily operations of CVDHR’s clinical research portfolio. She partners with investigators to design and execute investigator-initiated and sponsor-driven trials, ensuring compliance with the FDA, IRB and ICH-GCP standards. Oversees staff, manages regulatory workflows and supports patient recruitment with a compassionate and ethical approach.
Jane Baker is a skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine and urgent care. At CVDHR, she serves in both clinical and research roles, bridging patient care with protocol execution.
